A selfie of the artist as a young man in Oregon, 2007: Two of two.

In 2007 I went on a road trip with my then-girlfriend to Oregon. We took together-selfies long before I knew what such a thing was or would hear the word for the first time. (I assumed it was because no one else was with us on the beach, although this would later become a theme in Germany.)

Going away party: January, 2009. Two of few.

Keri (Kari?) making some kind face during the January 2009 going-away-to-Germany party.

As evidenced by my lack of knowledge of spelling, I am no longer in contact with her.

(I also have her to thank for many days worth of beration from others.)

The Oregon 2007 road trip; one of many.

In 2007 I went on a road trip with my then-girlfriend to Oregon. I learned I despised Oregon’s ridiculous speed limits (55) which I would hate even more after having lived in New Mexico. We saw some Shakespeare. (Mid-Summer’s Night Dream to be exact.) It was an enjoyable trip up and down the coast. As my co-worker says, woopy-woo.
